TÜV Rheinland Hosts Advanced Technology Seminar on Solar, ESS and EV Charging System

From May 30th to 31st, TÜV Rheinland hosted an advanced technology seminar on Solar, ESS(Energy Storage System), and EV Charging System in Shenzhen. The event featured speeches from representatives of the Shenzhen Administration For Market Regulation and the Guangzhou Customs District Technology Center (IQTC). Attendees included Xia Bo, Vice President of Business Stream Products TÜV Rheinland Greater China, Vice President of Solar & Commercial Products Greater China. and Li Weichun, Global Head of Power Electronics Business Segment and General Manager of Solar & Commercial Products TÜV Rheinland Greater China.

The seminar, themed "Exploring Green Sustainability, Innovating a New Future for Solar & Energy Storage," covered a range of topics. These included the green, low-carbon sustainable development of the solar industry, global market trends for energy storage systems, new EU battery regulations, and safety and packaging requirements for the international transportation of batteries.

Li Weichun presented the "Green Low-Carbon Sustainable Development White Paper for the Solar Industry." He discussed the opportunities and challenges solar enterprises face in their green, low-carbon transformation, addressing various aspects such as products, organizations, projects, supply chains, personnel, and carbon markets. The white paper also emphasizedthe importance of developing carbon management skills and capabilities within solar enterprises and collaborating with the supply chain to enhance low-carbon management across the value chain.

During the seminar, TÜV Rheinland awarded product certificates to several companies and signed cooperation agreements related to the solar. energy storage system and EV charging system fields and product quality inspection with Guangdong Guochang Technology Co., Ltd., Amphenol Technology (Shenzhen/Zhuhai) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Andepower Power Technology Co., Ltd., and the Chengdu Product Quality Inspection Research Institute Co., Ltd. The event also featured three specialized seminar sessions on solar, energy storage, and EV charging/swapping technologies, addressing various application scenarios.
