TÜV Rheinland meets very high information security requirements / TISAX Group Assessment for 13 locations worldwide according to TISAX Assessment Level 3

TÜV Rheinland meets the very high information security requirements of Level 3 of the TISAX standard. For the Group Assessment, 13 TÜV Rheinland locations worldwide – including the company headquarters in Cologne and locations in Italy, Brazil and Mexico – underwent audits according to the Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX) standard. The standard, which is established worldwide in the automotive industry, examines how companies manage information security and also focuses on data protection and the protection of prototypes.

The auditors from the testing company DQS determined that the processes and regulations established at TÜV Rheinland meet the very high protection requirements of Assessment Level 3 at the locations examined. “This underscores that we do not compromise when it comes to protecting our customers' information and data. Our customers can therefore trust that their confidential products are in safe hands, for example when testing new vehicle types or components,” says Thomas Quernheim, Senior Vice President Automotive Engineering & Homologation at TÜV Rheinland.

TÜV Rheinland is thus one of the few testing companies with a globally established and multi-site TISAX label, enabling it to respond even better to the increased requirements of automotive manufacturers and suppliers and to serve corresponding tenders. In addition to the 13 sites that have now been assessed, sites of TÜV Rheinland in Taichang and Shanghai (both China) have already had valid TISAX labels for some time.

About TISAX

The ENX Association supports the joint acceptance of information security audits in the automotive industry with TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) on behalf of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). TISAX assessments are carried out by accredited testing service providers who demonstrate their qualifications at regular intervals. TISAX audit results are not intended for the general public.

TÜV Rheinland Service GmbH highly values the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information. We have taken extensive measures to protect sensitive and confidential information. For this reason, we follow the information security questionnaire of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA ISA). The audit was carried out by an audit service provider, in this case the TISAX audit service provider DQS GmbH (Assessment ID: A1NZ7T-1, Scope ID: S6VC9X). The result is available exclusively via the ENX portal: https://portal.enx.com/en-us/TISAX/tisaxassessmentresults
