TÜV Rheinland Hosts New Service Launch Event

On November 6th, TÜV Rheinland Greater China Electrical held its annual new services launch event in Shenzhen. Focusing on four core sectors—robotics, artificial intelligence, acoustics, and display & human factors—the event introduced new services that offer enterprises more comprehensive and efficient technical solutions through innovative services that combine technological sophistication with humanistic care.

At the launch event, Jay Yang, Senior Vice President of Products Greater China, reviewed the innovation journey of the new services and stated: "Technological innovation ultimately serves humanity. In the robotics sector, TÜV Rheinland conducts in-depth analysis of the core challenges faced by consumer robots in materials, wireless technology, electromagnetic compatibility, safety regulations, functional safety, and cybersecurity. It clarifies regulatory requirements and provides enterprises with end-to-end one-stop product certification services. The launch event also highlighted TÜV Rheinland's intelligent sensing testing capabilities which providing testing solutions for sensors such as LiDAR under complex conditions such as rain, snow, fog, and strong light interference. This service will provide sensor selection advice, multi-sensor fusion testing, and safety certification support for assisted driving, drones, and various intelligent robot products, making the perception of intelligent terminals more reliable and better suited to users' actual needs.

Artificial Intelligence: Building a Trustworthy AI Ecosystem Through Certification

Guided by the principle of "safety and trustworthiness," TÜV Rheinland offers AI compliance certification aligned with the latest global AI legislative frameworks such as the EU AI Act. It provides efficient compliance solutions that enable AI products to enter international markets swiftly. Acoustics: Focusing on Multi-Dimensional Acoustic Technology and Scenario Integration

In the acoustics sector, TÜV Rheinland showcased its service capabilities, including acoustic laboratories, the multi-stage technical development roadmap of the "Sound Together" service, multi-modal perception and scenario integration, and core testing equipment such as anechoic chambers. Leveraging parameter measurement of fundamental acoustics, it focuses on the detection of multi-modal physical sound attributes, conducts in-depth research into interplay between human auditory perception, living environments, and ecological acoustics, and is committed to achieving acoustic harmonious balance among humans, technology, and the environment.

Display & Human Factors: Launching Three Major Service Systems to Lead New Directions in Visual Health

TÜV Rheinland unveiled its strategic roadmap for visual services and released the 2025 new roadmap for display services. Key highlights included the upgrading and promotion of the perceived stereoscopic color gamut standard, the latest advancement in the natural light-like service system, detailed explanations of the future-oriented intelligent cockpit service system and the human-centered human factors service system. The event also introduced the AI-enabled intelligent eye care service system. Through personalized and scenario-based data analysis, this advanced solution intelligently monitors, alerts, and comprehensively evaluate users' fatigue and health status.

Meanwhile, TÜV Rheinland and the Information Accessibility Research Association held the ceremony to unveil the "InnoHub and Information Accessibility Joint Laboratory". This laboratory will focus on the research and implementation of information accessibility technical standards. Stanley Liu,General Manager of TÜV Rheinland Greater China Electrical and Yang Hua, Secretary-General of the Information Accessibility Research Association, represented their respective organizations at the ceremony. Through scenario-based testing and certification, the laboratory will enhance the application of intelligent products in areas such as elderly care and disability assistance, further demonstrating TÜV Rheinland's continuous investment in "technology empowerment + humanistic care."
