TÜV Rheinland acquires SYGMA CERTIFICATION, S.L.

• One of the leading companies for Agri-food certification services in Spain to become part of TÜV Rheinland

TÜV Rheinland, one of the world's top ten providers of testing, inspection, and certification services, continues its global growth strategy and acquires SYGMA CERTIFICATION, S.L. The Cologne, Germany-based company has been growing and investing in acquisitions for some time.

This latest acquisition fits perfectly into TÜV Rheinland global growth strategy, which includes strengthening its footprint in key markets, further diversifying its presence within Spain, and expanding its service portfolio in the Certification business.

The integration of SYGMA CERTIFICATION, S.L. into TÜV Rheinland global structure will make it easier to be even closer to its customers and provide a wide range of certification services in the agri-food sector with the highest levels of quality.

SYGMA CERTIFICATION, S.L. (Sygma) is a private company with headquarters in Ciudad Real, Spain which offers agri-food certification services under ENAC accreditation, focusing on international standards related to good agricultural practices and quality and safety in the food industry, such as GLOBALG.A.P, IFS, and BRCGS. The company also maintains valid certifications in other countries, such as Morocco and Chile.
