TUV Rheinland UK is presenting a Customer Event for Wireless and SMART devices

TUV Rheinland UK is presenting a Customer Event

We would like to invite you on the 4th of May 2017 from 09:30 to 16:15.

All participants of this event will benefit from TÜV Rheinland experts on the following Wireless products, Market Access Services, Wireless Communications and LVD.

At the end of these topics we will have our expert panel answering all your questions that have been sent to our email address safety@uk.tuv.com.

Wireless products – We are offering a chance to come and explore the RED (Radio Equipment Directive) 2014/53/EU which has replaced the R&TTE directive.

Market Access Services – To provide support for developing new markets - with international manufacturing and product certification. Our experts will talk you through our services for quick access to international markets. Our faster turn over to market, more sales, and greater profits.

Wireless communications – Enabling the future what does it mean for TUV Rheinland?
We see it every day all around us: more and more devices are getting smart. Smartphones and tablet are part of our daily life; we cannot even live without them anymore. We use them for our email, Internet browsing, social media, etc. But also other devices in our home are becoming intelligent, our vacuum cleaner, our lighting, our heating, our automatic curtains/ blinds. All these devices use wireless technologies, and need to communicate to each other, or can be controlled from e.g. your smartphone. TUV Rheinland helps manufacturers to test these wireless technologies, or advice what technology to choose, and can test interoperability between devices. Recent concerns are data collection, privacy, and security concerns. Also here TUV Rheinland has full expertise and can help and advice manufacturers.

LVD – The Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2014/35/EU ensures that electrical equipment within certain voltage limits provides a high level of protection for European citizens, and benefits fully from the Single Market

The aim of our event is to bring awareness of the changes regarding wireless electrical/medical products and how you can export and import them to other counties.

Places are limited to 3 per company and free of charge to attend. Due to demand of this event places are on a first come first serve basis. If demand is high and there is a need to host a further event we will aim to do this in the near future.
