|Brazil (ANATEL)||Periodic maintenance of ANATEL telecommunication licenses with a validity within the period of March 6th to June 30th, 2020, does not require any documents - except for the manufacturers declaration.|
|Brazil (INMETRO)||Ordinance No. 111 of March 27th, 2020, grants facilities to local Certification Bodies in operating conformity assessment programs. The provisions apply from January 1st to June 30th, 2020. In particular, a risk assessment analysis may substitute a required Factory Inspection, Customer Complaint Service (CCS) or testing, under certain conditions.|
|China||From March 20th, 2020, on, Certification Body CQC issues a corresponding E-certificate together with the paper certificate. Same applies to the renewal of certificates after expiration or in case of certificate changes.|
E-certification covers the certificate, possible attachements and the 'statement of change' and is relevant e.g. for the voluntary CQC Mark as well as for Energy and Water Saving certification.
|Indonesia||SDPPI offices are closed, while online applications are still possible. Temporary certificates are issued electronic, substituting the regular certificates.|
|Malaysia||SIRIM has decided to suspend all on-site audits (surveillance and recertification) that have been scheduled after 28th April 2020. Remote audits may be offered in case the outbreak situation does not improve.|
|Peru||Decree No. 11/2020 extends the deadline for implementation of mandatory Energy Efficiency regulations for specific products to September 1st, 2020. E.g.: Refrigeration equipment, Washing machines, Tumble Dryers, Air Conditioners|
|Russia (Eurasian Economic Union)||Local Certification Bodies are permitted to reschedule due inspections by 6 months in case of travel bans; recommendations for implementing remote inspection are under development. Expiring certificates may be temporarily renewed.|
|Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Kuwait||Remote inspections are permitted as part of ‘Programmes for Verification of Conformity (PVoC)’|
|Uganda||Under specific conditions, remote inspections are permitted as part of the local ‘Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC)’|
