China | From March 20th, 2020, on, Certification Body CQC issues a corresponding E-certificate together with the paper certificate. Same applies to the renewal of certificates after expiration or in case of certificate changes. E-certification covers the certificate, possible attachements and the 'statement of change' and is relevant e.g. for the voluntary CQC Mark as well as for Energy and Water Saving certification. |
Malaysia | SIRIM has decided to suspend all on-site audits (surveillance and recertification) that have been scheduled after 28th April 2020. Remote audits may be offered in case the outbreak situation does not improve. |
Russia (Eurasian Economic Union) | Local Certification Bodies are permitted to reschedule due inspections by 6 months in case of travel bans; recommendations for implementing remote inspection are under development. Expiring certificates may be temporarily renewed. |
