Ensure mandatory Ivory Coast Energy Efficiency Label for your products

Order No. 140 of 2020 on the Energy Labelling of new Electric Lamps, Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, Freezers and Combined Refrigerator/Freezers defines the energy labelling requirements for major household appliances. These regulated appliances shall be labelled in accordance with this Order, and manufacturers shall prepare an information sheet detailing for instance - product description, technical specifications, standards and methods of measurement and calculation used to obtain the information specified both on the label and on the information sheet.​ Distributors or suppliers placing such appliance on the market shall provide a test report from an approved laboratory to the authority in charge. They are as well responsible for the label affixed to each product to be sold, and the availability of the information sheet.

Product Scope

- Lamps: Fluorescent Lamps and Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL), Halogen Lamps, Light Emitting Diode (LED) Lamps 
- Domestic air conditioners: Direct-expansion domestic Air Conditioners with a cooling capacity not exceeding 12 kW, whether fixed or mobile
- Domestic cooling equipment: Refrigerators (with one or more compartments, fridge-freezer compartments) and Freezers (cabinet and chest)
