The TÜV Rheinland Solar Energy Conference 2025 takes place at the TÜV Rheinland headquarter and is good to reach by car, train, or plane.

Reaching us by public transportation:

You can easily reach the venue by public transport from Deutz/Messe train station as follows:

  • From Deutz/Messe train station, take bus no. 196, direction "Am Grauen Stein" to the stop “Am Grauen Stein", bus runs approx. every 20min.
  • Please note: the last bus in the morning will depart at 8:52am at Deutz/Messe bus station.
  • Bus will be in service in the afternoon between 3:15pm and 6:15 pm.
  • Tickets can be purchased in the bus.

Alternative – from Cologne main station:

  • Take the subway 16 or 18 to the stop "Neumarkt". Continue on streetcar line 7 in the direction of "Zündorf" to "Raiffeisenstraße", approx. 10 min. walk to the headquarter
  • Take the subway 5 to the stop "Heumarkt". Continue on streetcar line 7 in the direction of "Zündorf" to "Raiffeisenstraße", approx. 10 min. walk to the headquarter

Reaching us by car:

Via the Cologne highway ring on the A4 to the Cologne-Gremberg interchange, take the A 559 in the direction of direction Köln-Deutz. Take Exit: Köln-Kalk / -Poll exit; via Rolshover Straße, Max-Glomsda-Straße and Am Grauen Stein.

Parking:
Free parking spaces are available along the street "Am Grauen Stein".

Reaching us by plane:

Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN)

  • Cologne Bonn Airport is approx. 12 kilometers away.
  • From there, take the S-Bahn S19 to the Messe Deutz station; the journey time is approximately 10 minutes. From there you can take bus 196 (see public transportation).
  • Trains run every 20 minutes from platforms 1 and 2.
  • Alternatively, a cab ride also takes approximately 15 minutes.
  • Both UBER and BOLT are available as well.

Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)

  • This airport is 62 kilometers from the venue
  • The free Skytrain operates from the terminal to the airport train station.
  • At the airport train station, you’ll find a train ticket counter or self-service terminals to purchase your ticket to Cologne.
  • Trains (RE1 & RE5) run every half hour from platform 4, taking you to Cologne Central station in around 30 minutes.
