Initial situation and requirements
Nordex provides powerful wind turbines for clients across the globe. With their expertise in technical design and development the company was commissioned to supply 33 wind turbines for the Jhampir wind farm project in Pakistan. The contract between Nordex and their customer required independent inspection to confirm that the components built in their facilities in China met stringent quality standards before shipment.

These included comprehensive inspection of various main components, such as gearboxes, generators and converters. We also provided inspection and quality audits for the manufacturing and assembly of all nacelles and blades.
Finally, we performed a thorough inspection of all components prior to shipment to Pakistan. Plus, we ensured all documentation was in order, including the Bill of Lading, and issued all relevant inspection reports and quality certificates.
