Initial situation and requirements
YPF is one of Argentina’s leading energy companies, specializing in upstream and downstream operations such as exploration, development and production of crude oil, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas. The company purchases materials and equipment from suppliers all over the world. To ensure all materials and equipment comply with quality and safety standards, the company required third party inspections across their global supply chain .

Solutions, results
With our global presence we provide YPF with comprehensive inspection and verification of materials and equipment purchased from their suppliers in Argentina, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Italy, India and China.
Our inspections begin during the manufacturing process, verifying manufacturing procedures, including welding and welding equipment , and ensuring that suppliers and their personnel hold the relevant qualifications. We also verify all quality documentation, such as test records, mill test certificates, non-destructive testing (NDT) , and performance test results, issuing any non-conformities as required.
