Target group

The The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Construction Certificate is a foundation qualification. It is for professionals responsible for health and safety in the construction industry, such as:

Prerequisites

There are no mandatory entry requirements. However, having awareness of general health and safety issues is essential. It is recommended you complete the NEBOSH General Certificate program before taking this course and have a suitable standard of English language (score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests).

Course topics

The NEBOSH Construction Certificate has three units:

NGC1: Management of Health and Safety 
NCC1: Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction
NCC2: Construction Health and Safety Application

• Units Numismatic Guaranty Corporation 1 (NGC1) and National Construction Certificate 1 (NCC1) are taught units with 5-12 elements, assessed with a two-hour written exam
• NCC2 is an assessed assignment, testing your skills
