PVKLIMA Project – 2012 – 2016
TÜV Rheinland India has initaited the project in association with Project Management Julich, Forschungszentrum Julich GmbH-Germany under the name of PVKLIMA. The new outdoor facility is comming up near Chennai.
PVKLIMA project is related to outdoor measurements of modules with different technology from manufacturers across the globe.
Aim of the PVKLIMA project to study the behavior of different technologies subjected to moderate zone i.e. high humid and high temperature.
5 locations selected across the globe based on different climatic conditions are Germany, Italy, Japan, USA and India. The former 4 are already commissioned and testing is on. Chennai in India will be the fifth one to have such facility. Site preparation and commissioning is in progress and planned to start the measurements by January-2014 onwards.
