TÜV Rheinland, one of the most important international suppliers of technical services for quality and safety, centralises, several Dutch divisions and moves to Industry Park Kleefse Waard in Arnhem. It concerns the business operation of the four locations in Apeldoorn and Enschede. At IPKW TÜV Rheinland will employ 50 persons.

TÜV Rheinland supplies several services, like testing and inspection of industrial facilities; testing of products according to safety norms, like glass, textile and medical products; and certification of management systems like ISO 9001 and VCA. The divisions are important parts of the network that is set up by the TÜV Rheinland Groupd to serve customers worldwide.

“TÜV Rheinland chooses for IPKW given its central location and the ability to build modern laboratories and testing facilities in a spacious building. In addition the innovative business fits the profile of TÜV Rheinland,” says interim director Rob de Jonge.

Industry Park Kleefse Waard (IPKW) in Arnhem is a location voor entrepreneurs in the cleantech industry. The park offers several facilities, an inspiring working environment and a durable and innovative profile. The mayor of Arnhem, Herman Kaiser is delighted with the arrival of TÜV Rheinland. “The number of jobs in Arnhem grows and it is a reinforcement of the profile of Arnhem as test and development capital for new energy and electricity,” says Kaiser who was actively involved in the preliminary phase.

TÜV Rheinland moves to Arnhem at the end of this year to establish in the industrial building SB, which is being renovated into modern offices and laboratories. Wednesday 20 May the contract was signed between IPKW and TÜV Rheinland in the townhall of Arnhem in the presence of the mayor.
