HAZOP Processes

A hazard and operability (HAZOP) study is a procedure implemented in safety technology which serves as a safety investigation of technical systems. The procedure is a systematic method used to identify hazards and evaluate appropriate countermeasures for both planned and existing systems. We regularly seek potential defects in technical systems and processes in order to increase facility safety and improve operations to optimize sustainability.

Initially developed to analyze chemical process systems, HAZOP has grown to include complex power plant operations.
