TÜV Rheinland has developed international co-operation between certification bodies in Europe, Asia, America and Latin America and Africa, to enable the manufacturer to place his products in the different world markets that he may desire with the shortest lead time and with the most efficient service available.
- CE Marking
TÜV Rheinland/Berlin-Brandenberg is a notified body for the majority of the directives for CE certification. Whether self-certification (Class l) is acceptable, or Class ll or Class lll certification is required, TÜV can assist and are able to do so using local staff for factory surveys and follow up services and in some instances, local test reports can be utilised in the certification process. - GS Mark
GS, in German 'Geprufte Sicherheit', stands for "tested safety". If a product is awarded the German GS Mark, it indicates a product tested and certified for safety according to the German Equipment Safety Law. It is an approval mark entailing periodic factory inspections covering quality control during production. - E-Mark
For exports to Europe, automotive products shall pass E-Mark Homologation, and TÜV Rheinland, as a competent testing laboratory for German KBA, the MOT of Luxembourg and the RDW of the Netherlands, can offer the complete range of homologation services.
