The major external objective is a continual and progressive upgrading of training standards, competencies, skills and techniques in Vietnam, with the award of the TÜVRheinland Professional Training Certificate being recognized as the required industry standard for training performance and quality.

Further information can be obtained by clicking on the following items, and trainers  desiring to enhance their professionalism, or persons wishing to become professional trainers should click on “Registration”.

Certification Process:

During 2008 TÜVRheinland one of our main targets is to achieve a situation whereby all our courses will be delivered by certified trainers.  To become certified a candidate must firstly attend the course or type of course for which they require certification, with such course being delivered by a certified trainer.

The trainer must then conduct the course or type of course for which certification is required, together with a certified TÜVRheinland trainer, or with a TÜVRheinland  certified trainer acting as an observer.  An evaluation process follows before the trainer is certified to conduct such training without assistance, or unobserved.

The certified trainer must demonstrate a full and complete understanding of TÜVRheinland  requirements in respect to the provision, conduct and delivery of training services at all times which meet TÜVRheinland  professional and quality standards, and which comply with world best practice standards.  Such training standards to include a number of specific requirements including:-

  • A positive approach to meeting client and participants training objectives and desired outcomes and results from training services.
  • An expert and professional knowledge and understanding of the training subjects and topics covered by this designation, with necessary review and study to be updated on current trends and latest developments.
  • In some instances training may require a specific qualification, or a qualification level may be considered necessary for such training.
  • To promote participation and interaction in the conduct of training to maximize training benefits, with the inclusion of exercises, case studies, role plays and related activities.
  • To ensure participants conclude the training with an action plan designed to benefit and add value to both participants and/or their company, organization  or sponsor, when they return to their workplace.

Contractual Arrangements:

Certified trainers are required to sign an agreement in compliance with  TÜVRheinland’s certification terms and conditions.  However, certification may be withdrawn or cancelled for any breach of such terms and conditions.
