TÜV RHEINLAND AIMEX VIETNAM’S FOOD LABORATORY ACCREDITED BY DGA ACCORDING TO ISO/IEC 17025:2005

After over twelve months of setting up and introducing the most modern food laboratory in Vietnam, TÜV Rheinland Aimex Vietnam has been officially accredited by the German Accreditation System for Testing Laboratories (DGA) in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005 on 25th November 2009.     

The DGA is a sector-specific, legally independent accreditation body in Germany. DGA's activity is the accreditation of testing bodies, chemical analytical, biological and medical laboratories, product certification bodies, and inspection bodies in Germany and throughout Europe. The European Series of Standards DIN EN 45000, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, and the ISO/IEC-Guides are the basis for the accreditation.

ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for certifying the ability of testing and calibrating laboratories. The certified laboratories prove that they have fulfilled the technical requirements and apply a quality management system to ensure correct and reliable testing results.

Product safety is a major concern in international markets, particularly in Europe, Japan and in the US. Since food products are among the most exported products in Vietnam, it is now more important than ever to ensure that international food safety standards are met. Our food testing services play an important role in contributing to the development of domestic food by complying with international standards and supporting Vietnam’s food manufacturing industry in exporting their products.

TÜV Rheinland Aimex Vietnam offers customers various food testing services for products such as: aquatic products, agricultural food products, canned food, functional food, beverages, cosmetics and related products. Their cutting-edge facilities comply with international standards and are run by experts in chemical and microbiological analysis. These facilities are located in a complex of laboratories at Quang Trung Software City.
