Guided Transport Systems

Technical progress in transportation methods and practices involves innumerable steps. Providers of goods and services to the transportation industry compete for the same business and are driven by the paramount goals of safety, efficiency and quality.

TÜV InterTraffic GmbH works with clients worldwide to achieve these goals. We assist clients with the development, testing, implementation and operation of transport-related projects in such areas as rail and electronic toll collection systems.

To create better synergies and provide more extensive services to clients, we have merged Railway Technology and Traffic Telematics & Traffic Consulting under TÜV InterTraffic GmbH.

Our expanded group now consists of a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, civil and electrical engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, physicists, transport experts and lawyers. We have authorized experts in the fields of statics and vibration control, materials and energy technologies, environmental protection and software engineering. Our areas of work also include conventional electro-technics, control technology, quality assurance, telematics and toll collection, rail technology, safety, human factors, organizational aspects and information technology.

We hold numerous accreditations, recognitions and authorizations as experts by state and federal governments as well as operating authorities. Just as important is our status as a Notified Body for Rail Interoperability in several European countries.

With over 25 years experience, we pride ourselves on our global network of offices around the world. We have access to over 1000 technical and scientific staff, encompassing over 40 technical disciplines, through our parent company of TÜV Rheinland Group.

Whether you are looking for safety certification, rail program management or other services for your transport needs, TÜV InterTraffic GmbH can provide solutions.
