Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED)
TPED 99/36/EC
This directive ensures the free movement of transportable pressure equipment containing dangerous goods within the European Community by road and by rail. The TPED applies to the design, manufacture and conformity assessment of transportable pressure equipment, such as cylinders, tubes and cryogenic receptacles, as well as tanks or tank vehicles. It also covers market placements, reintroductions into service and surveillance inspections.
TUV Rheinland is pleased to announce that it can provide full certification under the Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED) for all modules, including H and H1. For companies with implemented Quality Assurance programs, Moduels H/H1 provide the most efficient way to maintain serial production of transportable pressure equipment for the EU.
