TÜV Rheinland PTL deals with photovoltaic modules and systems. At TÜV Rheinland of North America we test and certificate photovoltaic components:

- Connection boxes
- Wires (and array harnesses)
- Inverters
We do so with reference to international standrads such as IEC 61730 and IEC 61215, national standards, such as DIN V VDE V 0126-3 and DIN V VDE V 0126-5 and TÜV internal requirements.
