Mangagement Systems Overview
Origin - Management systems standards originated in the post-WWII defense industry, building upon the numerous material specifications that were developed during the war. The requirement for systematic quality was recognized by governmental defense agencies as defense technology became increasing complex and sophisticated.
All of the management system standards in place today can be traced to the quality system standards (e.g., MIL-Q-9858, MIL-I-45208) that came out of the international defense community in the mid-20th century. Request a free quote today.
