TUV Rheinland UK - T Mark

This mark gives evidence that the essential safety requirements of the product have been fulfilled and the production has been inspected by an impartial organisation such as TUV Rheinland UK. The TYPE APPROVED mark shows both manufacturers and consumers that the component meets the required safety standards.

The T mark, although not required by law, can and does make a great deal of difference in cases where a product's malfunction leads to an accident for which its manufacturer could be held responsible under product liability laws. It is at the same time a convincing marketing aid, creating customer confidence and purchasing motivation.

The T Mark can be used to approve product, both to National (for example British/Irish/French etc standards) and international standards (for example European or IEC).
