ISO 9001:2000
What is ISO 9001:2000 about?
The ISO 9000 series was developed as an international standard to help manufacturers establish and maintain a uniform quality management system to better meet their customer’s needs. The standard addresses design, development, production and service and can be used in any industry.
The ISO 9001: 2000 standard focuses on system processes and contains the following five major clauses:
- Quality Management System requirements
- Management responsibilities
- Resource Management
- Product Realisation
- Measurement, analysis and improvement
It is based on 8 management principles and has a number of supporting standards in the ISO “9000” family. TUV offers training courses to help industry to better understand ISO 9001:2000 concepts together with their implementation.
Training Objectives
The objective of our training is to enable attendees to:
- Have a general understanding of the ISO 9000 document “family”
- Have a clear understanding of the ISO “process approach”
- Have a clear understanding of the ISO 9001:2000
- Have a clear understanding of internal auditing requirements
- Be able to practically apply understanding of ISO 9001

The course structure is modular and can be based on client's required training objectives. We also offer standard courses with the option of flexibility for appropriate demand.
