CCA Procedure

CCA scheme

CCA stands for Cenelec Certification Agreement. For you as a manufacturer of electrical appliances subject to the European low voltage directive (72/23/EEC) such as, for example, electrical home appliances, luminaires, office and data processing machines, tools, transformers, switches, electronic construction elements, that means that you can obtain several national, European approvals quickly and inexpensively. Provided that your factory is located in Luxembourg or one of the CENELEC member countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland or Turkey. These are the countries, or certification bodies within the scope of the CCA scheme, which mutually recognise test results. This is time saving for you and avoids costly double-testing of one and the same product. TÜV Rheinland, through SNCH, can help and support you in obtaining CCA Certificate and Test Report (NTR – Notification Test Results).
