EMC

TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc. provides EMC consultation, testing and certification services to help manufacturers comply with domestic emissions requirements (FCC) and the EMC requirements of the European EMC Directive 2004/108/EC.

FCC Approval / NVLAP

TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc.'s EMC and Telecom Division test labs are accredited for specific test methods by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) under the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP). Testing facilities are located coast to coast. Please contact us to find the one best suited for you.

NVLAP accredits qualified laboratories that offer services in the various fields of testing and calibration. This accreditation allows TUV Rheinland of North America to greatly accelerate the FCC approval process in areas of EMC and telecommunications testing by having the ability to self-declare conformity to standards and bypass the FCC's case review process. This can save our information technology equipment (ITE) and telecom clients weeks or months of waiting.
