TUV Rheinland’s Guided Transport Systems Division is recognized worldwide for its expertise and independence. With more than 35 years experience it holds numerous accreditations, recognitions and authorizations as experts by state and federal governments as well as operating authorities:
- Independent Third Party Assessor & Notified Body under European Union regulation for railway systems safety and interoperability
- Approval as Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for APM/Transportation Systems by Clark County/NV (Las Vegas)
- Independent expert organization by the German Federal Railway Authority (Eisenbahn-Bundesamt)
- Notification as Expert Organization EOQA by the French Ministry of Transport
- Inspection Body - Type A under ISO/IEC 17020
- Certification Body under EN 45011
- Numerous individual accreditations and recognitions as Auditors, Inspectors or Experts in various fields
