CCA, IECEE CB

This service is advantageous for the export of products, because

In the frame of the European scheme, the national certification bodies of the member states and the associate member states of CENELEC (MEEI representing Hungary) signed an agreement on the mutual acceptance of test data, which is called the CENELEC Certification Agreement (CCA).
The IECEE-CB scheme is a worldwide certification scheme, based on conformity assessment and certification to IEC standards for the electrical industry. MEEI is one of the founding members of this scheme.
In both schemes, the manufacturers of the member states have their products tested by one of the participating certification bodies according to the relevant rules of the scheme, and attest the positive results of the tests by the documents (CCA Notification of Test Results and Test Report, CB Test Certificate and Test Report) issued.
When exporting these electrical products, the national certification bodies of the destination member states accept these documents according to the rules of the schemes, and may attest the conformity of the products by issuing their own certification marks.
The national certification marks provide market advantages on a given marketplace.
Global conformity certification of electrical products, CB Scheme
MEEI Ltd. issues international certificates and test reports for conformity to IEC standards within the certification system (IECEE CB Scheme) operated by the International Electrotechnical Committee. These certificates are accepted by the national certification bodies (NCBs) of the participating countries according to the rules of the system.
European certification of electrical products, CENELEC Certification System
MEEI issues international certificates and test reports for conformity to European standards within the certification system (CCA system) operated by the European Commission for Electrotechnical Standardization CENELEC. These certificates are accepted by the national certification bodies (NCBs) of the participating countries according to the rules of the system.
ENEC Mark
Granting ENEC Mark serves for attesting conformity of luminaries, their components, transformers, switches, controls, IT equipment and disturbance suppressor units with the requirements of harmonized safety and EN performance standards together with the adequate competency of their manufacturers.
HAR mark
Granting HAR Mark serves for attesting conformity of low voltage cables and cords with the requirements of harmonized documents (HDs) together with the adequate competency of their manufacturers.
Keymark
Granting Keymark serves for attesting conformity of household and similar electrical appliances the requirements of harmonized safety standards together with the adequate competency of their manufacturers.

CCA-EMC
