The activities of this division serve the goal of mobility on the road, on the railways, and in the air. TÜV specialists are accompanying the start of the Transrapid magnetic monorail in China. In Japan and other countries, they make sure that future vehicle models will meet all legal specifications. They support industry in development and research, for example in the definition of new standards of safe air travel for children.

The German model of periodic vehicle inspection is now enjoying increased use abroad. Beyond this, the core services of the business area include driver license tests and the maintenance of workshops and vehicle fleets.
