Who can apply for ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification?

Certification according to ISO/TS 16949:2002 can be applied for by each organisation which:

• Performs processes of production of (manufacturing, processing of production materials, parts or subassemblies and installation, thermal processing, galvanic processing, painting and other finishing operations) serial products or service products connected with automotive industry.
• Manufactures products of "general" use (e.g. plastics, steel) which then go to Clients also from the automotive sector.
• Produces spare parts approved by car manufacturers (OEM) and delivered to them for distribution in the service network.
