The Rail Section together with TÜV Inter Traffic GmBH, works with clients worldwide to achieve these goals. To create better synergies and provide more extensive services to clients we have merged Railway Technology, Independent Safety Assessments and Rail Consulting under Rail Section.

Rail Section holds accreditations, recognitions and authorizations as experts by state and federal governments as well as operating authorities. Just as important is our status as a Notified Body in several European countries. With our experience, Rail Section prides itself on its global network of offices around the world. We have access to over 1000 technical and scientific staff, containing over 40 technical disciplines, through our parent company of TÜV Rheinland Group. Our engineers and lawyers work in tandem to provide clients with advanced rail technology solutions that also enable clients to reduce their liabilities in the practical world.

As a recognized experts on rolling stock, we also serve as a surveying organization for testing control, command and structures. Additionally, we offer EC certification for railway systems through TÜV Inter Traffic's Notified Bodies for Rail Interoperability in various European countries.
