Telecomunication equipment homologation
It is regulated by Mexican law that all products used in radio communications or telecommunications which are connected to the public telephone network, emit radio frequency or are linked to communication must be homologated prior to bringing them to the Mexican market.
TÜV Rheinland offers companies which import and manufacture telecommunication equipment a processing service to obtain homologation from COFETEL. This service consists of submitting the necessary information and making the application of homologation on behalf of the importer.
