Gas Cylinders
TÜV Rheinland is authorized to issue type approvals for gas cylinders according to the German "GGVS" (transportation of dangerous / hazardous goods on the road) and the international "ADR" (European agreement concerning the international carriage of dangerous goods by road) regulation RN 2215.
These approvals are handled as equivalents to the current "TRG" (Technical Regulations for Gases) type approvals. Actually, the "TRG" test requirements and approvals can still be used. The advantage of using TÜV Rheinland is that the waiting time to get governmental approval, which normally takes three to six months, is much shorter.
With the "ADR" labeling, client's products can travel throughout Europe without any restrictions.
Eventually, the European Union will release a new reference mainly to the "ADR" requirements.

- Non-Refillable Gas Cylinders
- Refillable High Pressure Gas Cylinders
- EEC Gas Cylinders
- Special Gas Cylinders (air bag inflators, fire extinguisher, etc.)
