Component certificates
TUV Rheinland test marks show that component manufacturer's products have met applicable safety requirements and quality standards. They are valued marketing tools. When consumers see a TUV Rheinland test mark, they can be assured that they are buying a safe component that has been investigated to particular safety requirements by an accredited third party and is supported by regular surveillance audits.
MEEI Mark

It is a recognized mark for components, electrical products, household appliances and industrial equipment. The MEEI Mark signals to the buyer, customer and consumer that the component/product, as well as the user manual and production process, has been tested by an authorized institution such as TUV Rheinland MEEI and is supported by regular surveillance audits.
ENEC Mark

Certification Mark that may be granted for manufacturers producing
- luminaries and their components located in EEA countries,
- appliance couplers and contact elements located in EEA countries
- industrial plugs and socket outlets, switches for appliances located worldwide,
- information technology equipment located worldwide,
- controls for household appliances located worldwide
- interference suppressor capacitors located worldwide
- interference filter units located worldwide
- transformers located in EEA countries
- non-rewirable flat plugs for household use worldwide
Certification is based on harmonized European norms, periodic factory inspections to (CIG 021) and product follow-ups. In the case of manufacturers of luminaries and their accessories an operable ISO 9001 management system is required. Routine testing capability is necessary by the manufacturer.
The Mark is considered by the signatories of ENEC agreement as their own Mark.
The Mark demonstrates the conformity with the essential requirements of EU Low Voltage Directive.
HAR-Mark

that may be granted for manufacturers located in CENELEC member countries where the Harmonized Documents have been introduced.
Technical area: PVC and rubber insulated cords, under 1000 V
Certification is based on Harmonized Documents (HD) and EN norms, periodic factory inspections (4 times per year), product follow ups, ISO 9001 conforming quality management system is required. The manufacturer must have testing capabilities according to HAR Permanent Document C. The Mark is considered by the signatories of HAR as their own Mark. The Mark demonstrates the conformity with the essential requirements of EU Low Voltage Directive.
MEEI Mark for cables

Certification Mark that may be granted for manufacturers located worldwide.
Technical area: PVC and rubber insulated cords, under 1000 V .
Certification is based on Hungarian standards identical to the relevant Harmonized Documents (HD) and EN norms, periodic factory inspections, product follow ups, ISO 9001 conforming quality management system is required. The manufacturer must have testing capabilities according to HAR Permanent Document C.
The Mark demonstrates the conformity with the essential requirements of EU Low Voltage Directive.
Bauart Mark

The Bauart Mark, also known as the Type Approved Mark or TUV Mark, is a safety approval mark for components or subassemblies. This mark shows the manufacturer and the consumer that the component has been inspected by an impartial organization such as TUV Rheinland and has been found compliant with the required safety standards. The mark is supported by regular production surveillance audits.
CB Test Certificate:
Certificates issued within the CB Scheme are based on one type testing without follow-ups. CB TC may be granted for manufacturers located in countries being IECEE members without surcharge. Standards for certification are IEC standards, different editions, national differences may also be tested and certified. The purpose of CB certification for the manufacturers is to obtain national certification marks worldwide.
Factory inspection may be carried out on separate application to OD-CB2008/CIG 021.
CCA Notification of Test Results:
Certificates issued within the CCA Scheme are based on one type testing without follow-ups. Standards for certification are harmonized EN standards, some national A-deviations may also be tested and certified. Manufacturer's location is not limited since 1st July, 2007.The purpose of CCA certification for the manufacturers is to obtain national certification marks of the European Certification bodies. Factory inspection may be carried out on separate application to CIG 021.
The CCA NTR demonstrates the conformity with the essential requirements of EU Low Voltage Directive.
