TÜV Rheinland STAR* is a new and unique rating service developed by TÜV Rheinland Group. This brings a new perspective to the evaluation of corporate sustainability and social performance. Drawing inpiration from new market requirements resulting from increased globalization and social awareness, TÜV Rheinland STAR* is based on our experience and services as well as the UN Global Compact, OECD-Guidelines, GRI, SA 8000, Electronic Industry Code of Conduct (EICC), Japan Electronics and the Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) CSR guideline for the supply chain, management systems as well as product certification standards. 

TÜV Rheinland STAR* applies an exclusive 9 Dimension rating process to analyze an organization’s performance and the results are summerized into an overall classification with our five-star rating system. Like the finest restaurants and hotels, a “five-star organization” is distinguished by an extraordinary level of excellence. 

Upon your request, the organization can be evaluated in a 10th Dimension which includes Customer Specific Requirements such as evaluation of delivery reliability or quality of suppliers.
