Track
As a notified body for interoperability, an independent safety assessor, and a consultant, we can offer the right solution to any problem. We advise on, assess, and test conformity to international directives, norms, and regulations, e.g. geotechnics for tunnels and soil works, track construction, structural engineering, and, in particular, line routing, components, slab track, and building construction. We also offer professional stability testing for bridges and other engineering structures. Our reference projects include analyzing the earthquake safety for the elevated track system of the Transrapid maglev train. We also test your tracks for noise and vibration protection. We offer you an EC test and EC certification for high-speed and conventional traffic in accordance with interoperability directives 96/48/EC and/or 2001/16/EC and the subordinated TSI (technical specification for interoperability).
We are an expert safety partner in matters relating to occupational safety, training concepts, rules and regulations, train-service instructions, and operating concepts. We provide comprehensive fire-protection support, ranging from material selection through the calculation of fire loads, smoke-extraction, and evacuation concepts. We also act as an assessor in the case of insurance claims.
