How to get your product listed
In order to have a product listed on the official SIG database, first the manufacturer must identify all implemented functional capabilities in the ICS/IXIT Proforma. Each feature declared in the ICS/IXIT has to be tested and documented in a test report. The Bluetooth Test Case Reference List (TCRL) stipulates which test cases should be performed (including all necessary test related information) by the manufacturer and what has to be carried out to the accredited Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility (BQTF).
The test report and product documentation will be forwarded to a Bluetooth Qualification Expert (BQE), who then, verified declarations and check to see weather documents comply within applicable requirements, reviews the test report. Ultimately, BQE is responsible for listing the product on the official database of qualified products.
Regarding to “Qualification Program Reference Document” (PRD), SIG members are able to download the PRD from the Official Bluetooth Website if they sign the no cost license agreement.
Several Entities are involved in the establishment and execution of the Bluetooth qualification program: TÜV Rheinland Group has a global network of testing laboratories and is authorized to certify products in over 100 countries. We provide the most complete service available, covering Bluetooth Qualification and worldwide regulatory approval regarding Safety, EMC, Health and Radio.
