Technology Seminar in Occupational Safety Health Week 2009, “The Trend of Safety Certification in the European”

Safety certification department of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency(KOSHA) held the technology seminar in COEX conference Center, Monday July 7. This is one of occupational safety health week’s programs.

Dirk Loeffler, a certifier in the company, attended the seminar and presented on “The Trend of Safety Certification in the European” in the seminar dealing with “The Scheme of Fundamental Safety on Mechanical Products and Machinery” among secondary topic, “Obtaining Occupational Safety”.

The participants were informed about the most domestic and international safety certification from the policy direction of examination system of safety certification according to The Ministry of Labor to the current trend in certification system. They also had opportunities to understand the existing occupational safety policy and its range of certification during question and answer session.

TUV Rheinland participated this seminar as a global certification body providing S mark certification through MOU with KOSHA as well as international certification including Europe.
