TÜV Rheinland Korea participates in the "Expo Solar/PV Korea" as a certification laboratory.

 The Expo Solar 2010 which is the largest exhibition as the Asia's hub will be held from February 3 to 5 at KINTEX in Ilsan. In 2009 The EXPO Solar, approximately 350 booths were registered by 180 related companies from 18 countries all over the world. The booth will be increased by 3 times with 1,200 booths compared to the previous year. Expo Solar/PV Korea is expected to be a practical B2B exhibition that could push forward global business marketing as the one step upgraded international exhibition in 2010 based on the experience of holding an exhibition previously in 2009.

Furthermore, Global electronics giants Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics will be using EXPO Solar 2010 to unveil their developed solar cells with their own technologies for the first time to the world. The active involvement by the two world-class electronics giants in the solar PV business will reshape the global solar PV industry.
Held concurrently with EXPO Solar 2010, '2010 PV World Forum', all the experts from across the world will discuss various solutions for reducing the cost of production and latest production techniques concerning high-efficient Solar Cell and people in charge of PV policy will exchange the information.

TÜV Rheinland Group is an independent organization that tests, evaluates and certifies on the safety and quality of products based on the international standards and regulations. More than 70% of worldwide photovoltaic installation components and modules are certified by TÜV Rheinland Group and we are currently providing the testing & certification for photovoltaic module, junction box, cable & connector, inverter in Korea. Also, TÜV Rheinland will participate in PV World Forum with the topic of ‘Global PV Industry Trends Past, Present and Future’ and will be presented by Mr. Luke Johnson (Project engineer of TÜV Rheinlnad Group).
