China CCC
China´s economic boom continues. The World Bank forecasts that in 2020 China will be the world´s greatest economic power. For manufacturers who aim to improve their sales prospects, China is an opportunity you should not miss. As a "global player", we are everywhere to assist you reliably and competently.
Since May 2002, the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) regulations have been in force for products to which mandatory certification applies. (There are currently 22 product categories for which testing is compulsory). We will be happy to advise you on details of categories and sub-categories and whether your product is subject to the new regulations.
Steps in Certification
- Submit application to the Chinese agency
- Have a type test undertaken in an accredited laboratory
- Arrange for factory inspection by Chinese inspectors
- Certificate is issued
- Approval is granted to use the test mark buy stickers
- Annual follow-on inspections
Since July 2004, as a contract partner of the Chinese certification agency CQC, TÜV Rheinland has been entitled to carry out factory inspections. Please note that CCC certifications are not valid in Hong Kong.
In Hongkong we will help you to register lamp sockets, switches, adapters, multiple plugs, supply mains or kettles there or can issue a Hong Kong S mark for your products.
