About TÜV Rheinland FORUM

TÜV Rheinland Japan Ltd. opened the gallery space "TÜV Rheinland FORUM" in the Shin Yokohama Head office 1F lobby space on May 11, 2005.  From the opening of the FORUM, TÜV Rheinland Japan Ltd. has been supported the “Deutschland in Japan 2005/2006” and offered the space for mainly German artists who contribute to the art in Japan.

Through the arts by the German artists in Japan we hope that the good relationship between two attractive countries, Germany and Japan can be passed onto the next generation.  We also hope that the TÜV Rheinland FORUM can play a role in the international exchange for businesses and cultural creations.

Now the Deutschland in Japan 2005/2006 is over, but we continuously offer the gallery space for the artists.  We keep trying our best to create the art world by displaying a variety of arts and wish that the visitors enjoy the arts.

In 2008 and 2009 we plan to display the arts that are related to the community such as the works by the Yokohama’s elementary school students, works of Yokohama port open 150th anniversary and so forth.
