How to list a Bluetooth™ product?

In order to have a product listed on the official database, the manufacturer must first identify all implemented functional capabilities in the ICS/IXIT* Proforma. Each feature declared in the ICS/ISIT* then has to be tested and the results documented in a test report. The Bluetooth Test Case Reference List (TCRL) stipulates which tests should be performed by the manufacturer, and which have to be carried our at an accredited Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility (BQTF).

The test report and product documentation are then forwarded to a Bluetooth Qualification Body (BQB), who verified whether declarations and documents comply with applicable requirements, reviews the test report and is ultimately responsible for listing the product on the official database of qualified products.

For information about the detailed description of qualification program  —  "Qualification Program Reference Document" (PRD), SIG-Members* who sign the no cost license agreement, are able to download the PRD from the Official Bluetooth Website: www.bluetooth.com
