Since 2001, lighters due to their potential hazards are in the scope of the product safety directive (2001/95/EC). Our test mark document compliance of your products with all relevant safety regulations and thereby increase your success on the market.

We test petrol and gas lighters based on the international standard ISO 9994. Testing includes:

• material properties
• normal and abnormal use
• resistance to environmental impacts
• child-proof characteristics acc. EN 13869 as well as
• quality and functional tests

Worldwide factory- and product inspections ensure consistent quality of your lighters and their materials - particularly important due to the massive stress ligthers are subjected to (internal pressure, handling, etc.)
