Eco Hotel and Resort Certification Process
The Phase 1 is aimed to perform a gap assessment and identify potential from energy savings to potential improvement in water and waste management from hotel operation.
Result of phase 1 is used as basis for development of action plan and system development.
On phase 3, hotel will perform self-assessment and through internal audits to find out how much they have improve and achieve the eco-hotel criteria before confirming for phase 4 where TUV Rheinland as independent certification body will perform certification audit and evaluate the eligibility for eco-hotel certificate.
