The requirements and the market in the EU
What is necessary for a Hungarian manufacturer to be able to launch the pressure equipment manufactured by him on the market in the European Union?
One of the preconditions is that the staff carrying out the non-destructive test of the permanent joints of such equipment shall be qualified according to 9/2001 GM or the 97/23/EC directive. For this it is required that the person has a qualification for this special field according to EN 473 obtained at a certifying body accredited according to the standard EN 45013 (MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17024).
Qualification according to PED can be obtained as follows: the testing staff qualified for this special field according to EN 473 become familiar with the requirements of the decre 9/2001 GM and the directives 97/23/EC and 87/404/EEC and the harmonized product specifications fulfilling those requirements in the frame of a one day training. Then, in the possession of the experience gathered there, they pass, on the day of the continued training, a short supplementary test exam. On the basis of the result of the test exam TÜV Rheinland InterCert Kft. issues the staff qualification certificate.
The notification of TÜV Rheinland InterCert Kft. refers to the qualification of staff carrying out non-destructive test of permanent joints on the basis of decree 9/2001 GM appendix 6 clause 3.1.3. We certify your existing EN 473 certification according to our 0035 legitimacy of cologne.
