Pyrotechnics and explosive materials
The certification of pyrotechnical and explosive materials made by the Hungarian TÜV Rheinland InterCert is a unique on the TÜV Rheinland service portfolio.
We provide expertise, inspection and certification activities in a very specific field. We implement our inspections on the basis of standards approved in the European Union and if necessary, in line with the military regulations of NATO. Our engineers have several decades experience in the field of design, manufacturing, qualification and application of explosives.
We are an international notified body for the conformity of explosives and actively participate in the forum of relevant notified bodies of the European Community. The CE 1008 mark placed on the products certified by us is well known all over the world and is unconditionally accepted in the member states of the EU. The typical product groups inspected and certified by us are:
- Industrial explosives, gunpowder, fuses, detonating cords, igniters;
- Locally mixed explosives and production equipment;
- Military explosives, rocket fuels;
- Explosive resistance of fertilizers.
The focus of the other segment of our activity is a wide range of pyrotechnical products that covers all categories of entertainment, theatre and technical pyrotechnical products. We are a designated body also in this field, and also the international notification procedure is in progress.
Our experts have got international experience. We plan to co-operate with our colleagues all over the world. In China and India we already have some clients.
We look forward for additional inquiries of manufacturers, distributors and importers, who intend to sell their products in the European Union.
