Proposal for interested parties
- If you wish to obtain type certification then you will need MODULE B certification.
- If you already have (MODULE B) type certification and do not have a QMS system, but you wish to trade pyrotechnical products on the EU market and you are a manufacturer, or its authorized agent (importer), then along with (MODULE B) certification select the MODULE C certification solution. The identification code of the supervisory body Notified Body must be displayed on the product along with the CE symbol.
- If you are operating a QMS system and have (MODULE B) type certification, then you can request QMS certification. In this case the product can be traded with B+D1 certification. The identification code of the supervisory body Notified Body must be displayed on the product along with the CE symbol.
- If you have (MODULE B) type certification and wish to trade the product on the EU market, and you are a manufacturer, or its authorized agent (importer), and the monitoring of the final acceptance is a part of the QMS operated by you, then we propose that you have compliance certified by Notified Body.
In this case the product can be traded with B+E certification. The identification code of the supervisory body Notified Body must be displayed on the product along with the CE symbol. - If you wish to trade special pyrotechnical products on the EU market and you do not have the product type certification, then select the MODULE G type certification solution. In this case the product certification is issued for the given manufactured item.
