Factory inspection services of MEEI
Safe electrical products of good quality can only be produced with a well-organized manufacturing background. One of MEEI\'s services is the professional verification of the conformity of manufacture.
The purpose of the factory inspection is to establish whether the manufacturer has the conditions for manufacturing the electrical product according to the relevant requirements.
MEEI as a full member of the CENELEC Certification System, co-operates with several foreign testing and certification Institutes in mutual recognition of factory inspection certificates.
MEEI performs factory inspections at more than 200 factories in Hungary on behalf of foreign certification bodies.
When performing audits to the ISO 9000 standard series, the experts of MEEI check the existence of internal procedures required by the system standard, and the operation of the system according to the regulations.
Factory inspections:
- pre-licence (prior to product certification)
- regular (after product certification, one or two times a year)
- special (out of turn, upon special request of certification bodies or the manufacturer)
Quality system audits according to ISO 9000 standard series:
- preliminary audit upon special request
- audit aimed at certification
- supervisory audit (during the validity period of the certificate)
Verification of systems certified to ISO 9000 standard series
- In the ENEC certification system (electrical luminaries and their accessories, information technology and office equipment, small transformers, power supplies, switches for household appliances)
- In the HAR certification system (electrical cables, cords)
