Materials Testing
The purpose of the tests is that, after the testing of the properties necessary for the user, in case of conformity of the test result the material is qualified.
The main subject is the testing of the base- and filler materials to be used for welding structures. So the following items may be tested:
- Plates
- Bottoms
- Forged products and pressworks
- Rod and pipe products
- Sections
- Cast products
The qualifications may be based on any specification provided by the customer, but first of all the German regulations AD 2000 Merkblatt, TRD, IBR (Indian Boiler Regulation).
Advantages
In case of adequate materials testing results and source documents there is a possibility that we reassess the certification of the existing material, and then we issue a qualification, certification according to the user needs. Only the official experts of TÜV are authorized to issue the material certificate according to the so called 3.1 A required by the German regulation system in case of the repair of old equipment. If customer requires, it is possible to issue a co called 3.1 C certificate, as occasion requires. All the certificates we issue meet the requirements of EN 10204.
