Fire indicators

Fire indicators, fire-alarm equipment and the several attachable devices as sensors, interposing and other input/output units.

We have designation for testing and certification of fire indicator systems according to the relevant national requirements. The EN 54 standard series (approximately 25 standards) draw up very serious requirements concerning installation of fire protecting systems both in the European Community and within the territory of Hungary. Thus these systems can be marketed or installed in Hungary only which are in conformity with the provisions of standards above.
MEEI is able to test your products according to EN 54 standard series furthermore to certify their conformity for the single European and Hungarian markets.

If studying thoroughly the relevant EN 54 standard series it can be seen that the conformity with their provisions ensures in a favourable way the safety and reliability of products either manufactured or bought and to be installed by you. We are speaking about the reliability and this is not casual, what does it mean? It means first of all the detection of a newly emerging fire (risk) in time that is the most important fact in respect of a given device. However on other hand the minimization of the erroneous alarms is also not marginal. The Fire Brigades take actions on the basis of more thousands erroneous alarms which cause considerable expenses.

.Based on the proposal of National Directorate for Disaster Protection the Minister of Internal Affairs has designated MEEI for the activities laid down in the Decree No. 26/2004. (VI.11.) BM. Our skilled and experienced staff is available for you to test and certify the following products
