EMC tests
Checking of conformity of the interference emission and immunity of products is prescribed by the 2004/108/EC directive. The attestation of conformity is the simplest when the product complies with the requirements of the relevant standards.
The manufacturer satisfies the provisions of the Directive by affixing the CE marking to the product, preparing and signing a Declaration of Conformity and obtaining the MEEI or TÜV Rheinland certificates.
(In case of some products, the duly affixing of the CE marking is also subject to the satisfactory results of some other tests)
The international CCA-EMC Agreement was founded by the member states of the CENELEC Certification Agreement. Its objective is granting of the pan-European EMC certification mark.
The CCA EMC mark also implies the conformity with the EMC directive.
The up-to-date instrumentation and the great testing experience of MEEI\'s experts may represent an efficient assistance in attesting the conformity and obtaining the international EMC certification mark.
Electromagnetic compatibility
EMC
Electromagnetic compatibility is the ability of systems, equipment, and devices to operate in their intended operational environments without suffering unacceptable degradation or causing unintentional degradation because of electromagnetic radiation or response.
EMC services of MEEI:
- conformity type tests to the relevant standards
- CCA-EMC tests to the relevant European standards
- CB-EMC tests to the relevant international standards
- expertise tests to special request of the applicants,
- advisory activity in reducing the interference emission below the required limits and increasing the immunity up to the required level.
